It’s roses time of the year. Rose petals and their medicine help to move and open a heart which has tightened emotionally and spiritually. Roses are anti-inflammatory, increase blood circulation, relieve depression and incredible for skin condition especially on the face, and it smells and look divine. In Ayurveda roses sooth the heart and allow healing of past hurt and support women health. It’s probably the reason why roses associate with love, romance and a forgiveness. Try this Rose Water Recipe, spray it, drink it and bath in it. 8 scented roses from the garden or wild roses (if roses are not scented do not use them) 1 litre water Remove petals from stems and wash them. Add petals to a large pot and add 1 litre filtered water. over medium-low heat bring the water to a simmer and cover. Let simmer for 25 minutes or until petals are a pale pink. Strain the mixture to separate the petals from the water. Discard petals and place water in a glass jar. Et voilà l’eau de rose!
