WELLNESS PARKINSON’S RETREATS
2026 Dates:
- June 11th-16th
- September 10th-15th
- September 17th-22nd
A diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease can be extremely confusing, worrying and exceptionally stressful. The long list of potential motor and non-motor symptoms can be overwhelming to digest and accept.
We all know how important rest, relaxation and stress management are for managing Parkinson’s symptoms.
We invite you to our retreats in Umbria, central Italy, which are specifically designed to enable deep relaxation, reflection time and a sense of community. With a range of proposed activities to promote healthy living. you’ll be part of a supportive environment that will support your body, calm your mind and bring ease and inspiration to your everyday routines.
Join an intimate group of 10-14 people with Parkinson’s (although partners, friends, and carers are also welcome!) to share a healing, nourishing, rejuvenating experience in the stunning Italian countryside, participating in specific activities and therapies designed to promote de-stressing and deep relaxation. Such activities are grouped around gentle movement and stretching, massage therapies, delicious Mediterranean, seasonal and nourishing food, group discussions, walks in nature or a swim with the overall aim of regulating the nervous system to allow the body to move from survival mode to rejuvenating and healing mode.
Equally importantly, we’ll create a supportive environment and a sense of community, where people can come together, to decompress and rest, share best practices and experiences, and make new connections and friends.
A typical day will look as follows. However, we’re of course conscious that people can often be on different daily timelines, given medication routines and general energy and on/off symptom changes, so the daily schedule will be flexible and take that into account. If you don’t feel up to yoga, for example, take a walk in the gardens or have a snooze by the pool.
We look forward to welcoming you to our community!
£975 per person. Full board.

The retreat is run on a non-profit basis – the cost covers the expenses of the stay, with the accommodation provided at no cost
The Venue
Due Torri is situated in Umbria, central Italy, on the border with Tuscany. Comprising two watch towers originating from the thirteenth century, the property has been lovingly restored and provides a comfortable and stylish dwelling, whilst also respecting the features of its historical past.
The property sits within beautiful gardens, with a large pool area, and is immersed amongst the Umbrian hills, surrounded by local towns offering the visitor all of the rich history, art, culture and culinary delights of the region.
The property is located in Northern Umbria, on the border with Tuscany. It is close to the regional capital city of Perugia and 1.5hrs from Florence. Nearby towns of interest rich with Renaissance treasures include Città di Castello, Cortona, Arezzo, Assisi, Gubbio and Lake Trasimeno. We will visit a local town on one afternoon of the retreat.
How to Get There
The property is approximately 35 minutes from Perugia and its international airport. There are daily flights from the UK (Ryanair from Stansted and less frequent flights with BA). The property is also accessible from Florence, Pisa and Bologna airports. Transfers can be arranged to/from the airport.
FOOD
I have thoughtfully designed the retreat menu in collaboration with our talented local cook, Laura, to ensure that the delicious local recipes are both nutrient-dense and nutritionally balanced. Each dish reflects Laura’s expertise in the traditional cuisine of the region. All fruits and vegetables are seasonal and locally sourced, ensuring every meal is fresh, vibrant, and deeply nourishing.

Kind Words
“I thought it was amazing, unexpectedly emotional, uplifting and joyful. I’d love to come again and it most definitely had a lasting effect on me. I’m so glad I attended, it’s ended up being one of the best things that’s happened to me since being diagnosed.”
