“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity” Hippocrates

My retreats provide a gentle way to cleanse, nourish, rebalance your system, allowing you to return to yourself. I provide the time, space, techniques and practices to help you find a more balanced lifestyle.

I’d love you to join me on a deep dive into what wellbeing means for you, and to find sustainable, practical ways to bring about positive change in your life.

IN PERSON RETREATS

The retreats are suitable for anyone who would like to spend a weekend in nature learning about wellbeing, organic delicious clean food and yoga.  Beginners are welcome, and people of all ages.

The groups are small (10-20 people) so that I can spend time with each participant and so that for the period of the retreat we can spend time together as a living community.

Booking on one of my retreats will donate 30 trees in your name as I am now fundraising in aid of TreeSisters. Visit their website here

What to Expect:

These retreats don’t entail harsh regimes or fasting.

We will practice yoga together, exploring physical, mental and spiritual balance through movement and breath.

We will cook and eat together learning how food can nourish our bodies and balance our entire selves.

We will reconnect with nature and with our natural selves in the beautiful family-run, ecological spaces that I have carefully chosen for the retreats.

FOOD
Beautiful, organic, seasonal, and where possible, local food is central to every retreat. Together we will prepare and eat foods chosen to nourish the body and support mental and physical balance.
Nourishment is a core element of my work and the retreats include guidance and education of how you can use food to rejuvenate the self.
During our time together, you will learn how to prepare superfood shakes and smoothies, and how to cook healthy delicious food, including raw chocolate and turmeric shots (all sugar, gluten, animal protein free).

SEASONS
Our bodies respond to the cycles and rhythms of the year. I design my retreats to honour and move with these.

  • Autumn is a time for slowing down; the perfect time to nurture and restore your body and mind.
  • Winter is a time to strengthen the immune system, to reflect, heal and find mental clarity.
  • Spring is the best season for a quick liver cleanse; for rest and rejuvenation.
  • Summer is the perfect time for the body to cleanse fully, allowing for deep relaxation and regeneration.

09.00-11.00: Morning breathwork, Hatha yoga & Yoga Nidra
11.30-13.30: Preparing and eating cooked lunch

“We were talking today about what an impact your retreat has had on us – particularly Abi. She has gained so much confidence and zest for life in the last 6 months, helped by fantastic GCSE results and really enjoying studying for her A Levels at our local 6th form college. We have also both stopped eating meat and are pescetarian (on our way to being vegetarian*;) winking). We are both feeling the health benefits and have much improved complexion, hair and nails. We have also been enjoying doing yoga”

“Rina’s weekend detox retreat was an absolute breath of fresh air. The balance of invigorating morning yoga and a deeply restorative afternoon yin session fully satisfied my yoga cravings, whilst the exceptional juices, salads, soups and snacks all freshly prepared nourished me far more than expected. There was space within the weekend to snooze, read, walk and massage yet the best bit of all was that I left having learnt a lot about nutrition. Thanks to Rina bee pollen and chaga tea are now weekly staples and my body has never been happier!”

I’ll admit I wasn’t overly keen to attend the Autumn Cleanse (or any cleanse for that matter!) and agreed to the weekend simply because it’s something my Mother wanted to do!

Rina set the tone of the weekend from the off, recommending a small community mind-set, but reassuring we could take space and time for ourselves at any point. She talked about the benefits of kindness, to ourselves and each other, which cemented the theme of the weekend.

I quickly went from cynical to open-minded and I’ll attribute that entirely to Rina. I don’t know if she realises how good she is! Intelligent, well-studied and well-travelled, Rina brought such a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the retreat. Her communication skills are first-class and she read the group and the individuals in it perfectly. Her views are based on years of study and experience and her set-up is one of real substance and integrity.

The information we were given as part of regular group discussions was brilliant, the Yoga and Meditation sessions were nothing short of enlightening (yes, I actually just wrote that!) and the relaxed walks in nature were a beautiful way to reset.

The sense of community Rina developed within our group (which was very diverse and could easily have fragmented) grew over the weekend and I noticed us gravitating to each other a lot more as time went on. It was such a beautiful space of kindness, completely lacking in ego or judgement, and you could see everyone starting to flourish and thrive among a bunch of people they only just met. This part, for me, was profound.

Immediately after the Autumn Cleanse I genuinely could not recall the last time I felt so energised and vital. A week later I’m calmer, happier and the approach to food and nutrition we experienced on the retreat has stayed with me. It’s had a huge impact on my Mum too, and her diet is quite transformed as she continues her journey to health whilst living with cancer.

In a nutshell (organic nuts, obviously 😉 this cleanse was exactly what I needed and exactly when I needed it. I’d no idea it would end up being such a fundamental experience, but what a super surprise and I’m so grateful we went.

Thank you Rina!

“Rina created a nourishing, calming space . I loved the balance of yoga, walking,  free time for thinking and reflecting, and cooking yummy food together. I considered myself someone who already knew a lot about healthy eating but I learnt a lot, and got fired up to learn more especially about superfoods after the retreat.”
Teresa Fabian, Financial Advisor, London

“Rina’s Spring Detox and yoga retreat was exactly what I needed; like minded individuals, discovering beautiful fresh healthy food (if you are feeling bored with your normal diet and uninspired walking around the supermarket, discovering these yummy foods is perfect), yoga with Rina (boy do I miss her yoga sessions, her narrative, pure love of the practice, knowledge and humour are unique) and peaceful walks in beautiful countryside. It was a real privilege to have a whole weekend dedicated to really looking after myself surrounded by amazing people. What an experience, thank you Rina and to everyone else that was there, a truly special group.”
Lyndsay White, Barrister, Bristol

“Rina created a wonderful nourishing space, and her yoga and meditation classes took me beyond my previous experience to a calm, warm and beautiful place in my mind whilst enabling me to make new shapes with my body. The food we cooked was delicious – I really did not know healthy food could be so incredible – and I learned a lot about feeding my body with the nutrients it craves to work best. The surroundings were divine and the group sessions supportive and illuminating. I left feeling refreshed and uplifted with my mind and body truly detoxed, relaxed and energised. I can really only describe the experience as magnificent. I am so grateful I went, it is probably the most positive thing I have done for myself in a very long time.”

Lara Whyte, Journalist, London

“Rina weaves a wonderful web of well-being, drawing on so many inspiring traditions around the world- be it Ayurvedic, Native American shamanism, or wisdom from African healing traditions. This makes her approach to teaching yoga and healthy eating truly unique, original and most of all enjoyable”

Joanna Webber, Bruton
