Raw Chocolate

Raw cacao is known as “The Food of the Gods and Goddesses”.

High in Magnesium, Iron, Chromium, Tryptophan and Antioxidants.
Magnesium is the most deficient major mineral in the Standard UK Diet(SUKD), over 80% of us are chronically deficient in Magnesium.  This makes Cacao a genuine superfood and explains why we women crave chocolate so much in and around our periods.
Nature works in wonderful ways, hey?
Magnesium is associated with balanced brain chemistry, strong bones, relief from cramps and a healthy heart –   often known as the happiness mineral.
In moderation cacao can be a medicine however, use too much and it becomes a poison.
The theobromine in cacao stimulates the heart, therefore it’s common to experience adrenal fatigue after consuming high quantities.  For the Maya, cacao was a sacred gift, they took it as a ceremonial elixir and mood enhancer.  So, use it with respect.
