The summer solstice has just passed. We often hear about celebrating this peak of light and energy, but from this point onwards, the days begin to shorten. The light has reached its height.
In Kabbalistic wisdom, the solstice is not only a time of expansion—it’s also a moment for honest reflection. A time to look at what didn’t bloom, to acknowledge missed opportunities, and to gently release what no longer serves our growth. Elimination, in this sense, is an act of conscious refinement. And as your liver loves to detoxify the ‘dead’ hormones and excess waste when it’s warm, contemplate taking a few days or weeks to restart your system.
Detox and cleanse practices support the body’s own intelligence to heal, remove blockages, and help the body and mind return to balance. If you’re eating well and moving your body but still feel sluggish, inflamed, or emotionally unsteady, it may be time to gently support your inner systems.
Ayurveda always starts with correcting your lifestyle practices. Then it may advise herbs—and if that doesn’t correct imbalances, Panchakarma is the next step.
Here are a few gentle ways to support the body’s natural detoxification process:
☀️ Cleanse and support your liver
Summer is a natural time for detox—the liver is more active and ready to release. Try cutting back on oily, heavy foods. Focus on bitter greens like rocket, dandelion, and coriander. A warm castor oil pack on the belly is also a powerful, soothing support.
☀️ Juice in the morning
A light blend of celery, lemon, cucumber, and coriander helps cool the system, alkalise the body, and clear stagnation.
☀️ Superfood support
In the morning, you can also nourish your body with a spoon of our Regenerate superfood mix. Rich in chlorophyll to help regenerate cells and purify the blood, it also contains ingredients that support balanced blood sugar, feed the brain, and soothe the gut.

☀️ Give your body a break
A 12 to 16-hour overnight pause from food allows the body to clear out waste and support hormone balance. If you finish dinner at 7pm, having breakfast at 9am already gives you a 14-hour break. It’s simple and effective.
☀️ Walk barefoot in the morning
An ancient Ayurvedic practice called dew walking. Early morning grass under your feet cools inflammation, soothes the mind, and reconnects you with the earth.
